February 2013 - Turbines Start Arriving at Tallentire

Turbine components have begun to arrive on site. The turbines are being transported in sections, with the blades, two tower sections, hubs and nacelles (the boxlike structure at the top of the tower that houses the gearbox and generator) delivered on separate, specially designed vehicles.
